Home Furniture & Interior Decor
Description
Furniture shopping should feel like walking into a home you want to live in — not scrolling through a warehouse catalog. WOODHOLM had the pieces to create that feeling. We built the store to match it.
The Challenge: WOODHOLM carried a thoughtfully curated range of home furniture across living rooms, bedrooms, and dining spaces — but their online store was presenting it without any of the warmth the brand stood for. New collections weren’t being surfaced effectively, the recommendation logic was absent, and customer reviews — one of their strongest assets — were buried so deep in the site that most visitors never saw them. The store felt transactional in a category that is anything but.
Our Approach: We built the experience around aspiration first, transaction second. The hero invited customers in with rich interior photography that made the furniture feel lived-in and desirable rather than staged and sterile. New collections were given prominent homepage real estate to reward returning visitors and give first-timers a natural starting point. A personalized recommendation strip was woven into the browsing flow to surface relevant pieces based on what customers were already looking at — reducing the effort it takes to go from inspiration to a full room. Customer testimonials were restructured into a dedicated section that carried real visual weight, because in furniture, social proof from real homes matters enormously.
Results & Impact: WOODHOLM saw a 43% increase in pages viewed per session after launch as the improved content flow kept customers exploring longer. The recommendation section contributed to a 36% rise in average order value, with customers regularly adding complementary pieces to their cart that they wouldn’t have found otherwise. Customer review interactions increased by 51%, confirming what the team already knew — their happiest customers were their most powerful sales tool, they just needed a proper stage.
