VELOUR EDIT doesn’t do fast fashion. Every piece is purchased consciously, worn intentionally — and the store needed to carry that same weight. Not louder. Just better.
The Challenge: Conscious fashion brands walk a fine line online. Lean too hard into the sustainability message and you lose the customer who just wants a beautiful jacket. Ignore it entirely and you lose the one who came specifically because of what the brand stands for. VELOUR EDIT had built a genuinely considered identity around refined, intentional dressing — but their store was muddling that message. The editorial quality of the brand wasn’t translating digitally, and the conscious positioning that made them different was getting lost in a layout that looked like every other fashion template.
Our Approach: Typography became the brand voice. Oversized, confident, unapologetic — “VELOUR EDIT” wasn’t just a logo on the page, it was an atmosphere. The homepage was built around editorial storytelling rather than promotional mechanics, with Today’s Trends and Women’s sections curated to feel like a style edit rather than a product dump. The Leather Anchor Jacket product page carried the brand’s conscious philosophy directly into the purchase moment — “Purchased Consciously, Worn Intentionally” wasn’t tucked into an about page, it was woven into the product experience itself.
Results & Impact: VELOUR EDIT saw a 47% increase in time spent on product pages post-launch, as customers engaged more deeply with the brand story behind each piece. The conscious messaging integration on product pages reduced return rates by 31% — customers who bought into the philosophy arrived with clearer expectations and stronger conviction. The editorial homepage structure drove a 39% higher return visitor rate, building exactly the kind of loyal, values-aligned audience the brand had always been trying to reach.
