Description
Buying glasses online has always had one problem — you can’t try them on. LENSOVL already had a solution. Our job was to build a store confident enough to make customers forget that was ever a concern.
The Challenge: The eyewear market online is brutally competitive, and LENSOVL was sitting on a genuinely strong product range with a virtual try-on feature that most competitors couldn’t match. The problem was their store wasn’t leading with any of it. The try-on feature was hidden, the frame browsing experience was clunky, and the product pages weren’t giving customers the detail and confidence they needed to spend $100+ on glasses they couldn’t physically hold. A great product was being let down by an underwhelming presentation.
Our Approach: We flipped the entire experience around the brand’s strongest asset — the virtual try-on. It became a homepage centerpiece, not a buried feature. The “Optics Elevation” hero set an immediate tone of confidence and forward-thinking style, positioning LENSOVL as a brand that takes eyewear seriously. Frame browsing was restructured around face shape and style preference, reducing the paradox of choice that was causing drop-offs. Product pages were rebuilt to feel like a proper frame consultation — material details, size guides, and multiple angle shots giving customers everything a physical store visit would.
Results & Impact: Virtual try-on usage jumped by 67% in the first month after launch, directly correlating with a 41% improvement in conversion on frames priced above $100. Bounce rate on the homepage dropped significantly as the stronger hero messaging gave first-time visitors an immediate reason to stay and explore. LENSOVL finally had a store that matched the ambition of the product sitting behind it.
