Description
Good coffee deserves a better stage. BREWVAULT came with a product worth talking about — single-origin roasts, a serious commitment to quality, and a customer base that genuinely cares about what’s in their cup. We built them a store that lives up to all of it.
The Challenge: Specialty coffee is a category where the product story matters as much as the product itself. Origin, roast profile, brewing method — these details are what separate a $6 bag from a $28 one in the customer’s mind. BREWVAULT’s old store treated their coffee like a commodity, with no storytelling, no atmosphere, and nothing that communicated why their beans were worth the premium. They were losing customers to brands that looked the part, even when the product didn’t come close.
Our Approach: Atmosphere came first. The dark, rich visual language wasn’t just an aesthetic choice — it was a deliberate signal to the customer that this wasn’t supermarket coffee. The homepage was built around education and conviction, with a “Why Coffee Lovers Choose BREWVAULT” section that made the case before the customer even reached the collection. The signature coffee grid was laid out to encourage exploration by origin and roast, and the product page was crafted to tell the full story of each bean — where it came from, how it was roasted, and exactly what to expect in the cup.
Results & Impact: BREWVAULT saw a 52% increase in average session duration after launch — customers were actually reading, exploring, and engaging with the brand story before buying. The signature collection page became their top-performing entry point for new customers, and average order value climbed by 34% as the improved product storytelling encouraged shoppers to trade up to premium roasts they might have otherwise scrolled past.
