At-Home Beauty & Personal Care
Description
THE GOODIES sells solutions to problems women deal with every day — and they do it without the clinical coldness that most personal care brands default to. Warm, honest, and refreshingly straightforward, the store needed to feel exactly like the brand does.
The Challenge: At-home beauty devices are a tough sell online. The category is crowded with inflated claims, confusing technology jargon, and products that look great in ads and disappoint in real life. THE GOODIES had something genuinely different — devices that worked, customers who loved them, and a brand voice that actually spoke like a human. The problem was their store wasn’t reflecting any of that warmth. It felt transactional where it should have felt reassuring, and product pages were loaded with information that confused rather than convinced.
Our Approach: We built the store around the customer’s hesitation, not the product’s features. The homepage opened with the problem — “Finding It Hard” — before presenting THE GOODIES as the answer, a sequence that made customers feel understood before they were sold to. Product pages were restructured to lead with outcomes and real-use context, with color variants and device specs presented cleanly enough for the detail-conscious buyer without overwhelming the one who just wants smooth skin without a salon bill. Customer testimonials were given proper visual weight, doing the heavy lifting that no amount of brand copy can replicate.
Results & Impact: THE GOODIES saw a 49% improvement in product page conversion within the first six weeks of launch. The problem-solution homepage structure significantly reduced paid traffic bounce rates, as customers landing from ads found a page that immediately validated why they clicked. Customer review interactions increased by 44%, and the mobile-optimized experience drove a 37% uplift in mobile conversions — critical for a brand whose audience overwhelmingly shops on their phones.
